After graduating from Deakin University in 2006, Greg worked for over two years with KPMG Australia as a consultant in the Corporate Tax Division of KPMG Melbourne. In 2009, Greg joined the Corporate & International Tax Division at the Melbourne office of BDO Kendalls Tax Lawyers. Also in 2009, Greg joined the School of Law at Deakin University, Lecturing in Business Taxation Law. Greg specialises in corporate and international tax, and has worked on various domestic and cross border transactions, capital raisings and corporate restructures.Greg has a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Economics and Finance, advanced standing in a Graduate Diploma of Accounting, and is soon to be admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria. Greg is extremely passionate about community and youth development. During his time at Deakin, Greg acted as Treasurer and Vice President of Deakin’s Accounting Economics and Finance Student Society, and was a member of Deakin’s Access, Equity and Equal Opportunity Committee. Greg spent 3 years at the Southport Community Legal Service providing legal assistance to individuals without the resources to access the legal fraternity by other means. As a basketball player and Coach with the Australian Sports Commission, Greg has also assisted with basketball programs at Camp Australia, and the selection and coaching of young basketball players at Victorian Intensive Training Centres. Greg will be focusing on supporting Nexus by further developing the Hope Scholars program, assisting with the development and operation of the Nexus Australian College of Social Sciences, and acting in a general advisory capacity. |
Justin CilmiJustin completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Deakin University, majoring in Finance and Economics.
