Description: The Anchor Social Housing Project (AHP) is a venture of Anchor Inc. a foster care and community care agency based in the outer East of Melbourne. The project seeks to respond to and satiate several observed community needs. The project seeks to provide allotments of social housing in the outer east of Melbourne to respond to seemingly intractable homelessness in the region. The project also seeks to provide housing solutions to the community focused on enabling young persons out of home pursuing secondary education, with stable home environments.
