Our name is pronounced nexus (nk'ses) n., pl. nexus or -uses. The word nexus is defined as a means of connection; a link or tie, connected series or group, or to be at the core or center. We see this as our role as a group, it epitomises what we endeavour to achieve in the community. To connect unconnected groups, and to empower them through this connection. |
Carlene D'RosarioCarlene is truly passionate about community development, with a recent trip to the Mekong region of Vietnam serving to catalyse this passion. Michael D'RosarioMichael is a Lecturer in Finance & Ethics at Deakin University. Michael has also undertaken a Masters in Arts (International Justice) at the University of Melbourne, Michael's research focuses on morality, patriotism, and sovereignty. Michael's other research focuses on diaspora communities, game theory and development economics. In particular it is orientated around the individuals' moral assessment framework.
