The Next Leaders Program
The Next Leaders Program and antecedent programs have been running for a number of years, and are amongst the longest standing programs of there type in Australia. The program aims to introduce participants to new and innovative ideas in the areas of Business and community development in the context of leadership. It aims to create a populous that is not limited by existing practices and existing models for leadership and governance but rather a collective that is capable of creating new and innovative practices and approaches to governance. We will accept applications for the 2011 program on the 15th October 2011.
The Masterclass Program
The Master class seminars are a series of competency based training sessions, focused on affording the participants with key skills and competencies essential to their success in the business and community sectors. The sessions are conducted by industry professionals and academics with significant expertise in the business and community sectors. The sessions are offered throughout each semester and a number of times and venues. The program has concluded for 2011, those interested in completing the 2012 program should note that the schedule will be available January 15 2012, with registrations opening on the 20th of January. A tentative schedule will be provided in late November.
The Knowledge Capital Program
Knowledge Capital is a series of thought leadership sessions and plenary groups focused on exposing participants to thought leaders from business and industry. The sessions do not merely focus on vocational practices, rather the sessions focus on thought leadership narratives from a number of different spheres. The program considers issues at the juncture of economics, development studies and social change. The program offers something to both undergraduate and graduate students of all disciplines, and any individual with an interest in development finance and economics.
The 2011 program is to be conducted as a series of intensive seminars commencing on the 20th September 2011, and will feature Professor Edwin Maberly, amongst a number of notable speakers discussing the economic and social impact of historical financial crises on social and economic development (Please note the session is fully booked).
The schedule for the 2012 program will be available on the 15th of January 2012.
